WHAT WILL YOU RECEIVE?

together with the blown glass vases visible in this collection you will receive the tillandsias of the suitable variety ready to decorate any environment

  • CHILDREN OF THE WIND

Did you know that Tillandsias, also known as air plants or "daughters of the wind" do not have roots and do not need soil.

  • THEY PURIFY THE AIR

They purify the environment from both cigarette smoke and chemical, physical and electromagnetic pollution.

  • FLOWERING

Each Tillandsia has its own life cycle which leads to the production of beautiful colored flowers.

PLANT CARE

The maintenance of tillandsias is very simple and requires little time, it will be enough to vaporize them 1 or 2 times a week. Once a month it is recommended to immerse the plant for complete hydration, avoiding stagnant water. They are indoor plants, in summer they can also be placed outside taking care to avoid direct sunlight.

FREQUENT QUESTIONS

HOW DOES THE TILLANDSIA HANG ON THE HOOK?

The hook is malleable with the hands and can be modified according to the head of the plant, even the "c" teeth can be opened with simple tweezers to thus create an anchor for the plant.

HOW OFTEN DOES TILLANDSIA WATER?

Maintenance is very simple and takes little time. Spray every 2 or 3 days, thoroughly irrigate for a few minutes by immersion 1 or 2 times a month, making sure that the whole surface of the plant is well wet, avoiding stagnant water (green leafy tillandsias should be watered more frequently ). Use tap water: these plants will find all the nutrients they need in the water.

WHERE TO KEEP TILLANDSIA

Put them in a bright position: in front of a window well exposed to sunlight, preferably not direct (but a few hours of direct light will be fine). The green ones (for example the Tillandsia Brachycaulos "Multiflora") are the most suitable for living in a shady environment, while the silver ones (for example the Tillandsia Usneoides) can also receive a few hours of sunlight a day. Placed in a favorable climatic condition they will produce beautiful colored flowers.
