The Tillandsia Abdita is native to Mexico and Central America, where it typically grows in dry forests and desert areas at elevations of 600 to 1,200 meters. Among Tillandsias, it is known for its abundant green foliage, which can naturally shift to beautiful shades of red or purple depending on temperature and light exposure. Commonly, the Abdita is associated with the Brachycaulos group, a well-known species within the Tillandsia family. However, this air plant is truly unique and considered a rare species.
